I took EDU 677 (EDA 6777) with Dr. Marilyn Tallerico in the Spring of 2003.  I took the course for several reasons, foremost among them is my interest in educational administration.  As a student in this course, I had an option of doing a very preliminary literature review on a topic of my choosing.  I thought it would be a good idea to do this and thus did so.  Below is the paper whose title is: Mini-Literature Review: Parental Involvement in Schooling.  As one who is interested in the role family has in one's education, I was able to delve into a topic that may become the general area of interest with my dissertation. Feedback from Dr. Tallerico is provided below.
FEEDBACK FROM DR. MARILYN TALLERICO
    "The substance of this paper is a strong start for a more complete, future review.  The comments noted in the margins should help you move towards better dissertation writing.  An ambitious choice of projects, well done.  Way too many spelling errors, though.  Should be easy to remedy minor technical flaws in future papers."

GRADE = A-
